BURBANK, CA--(Marketwire - April 27, 2010) -  After whipping the studio audience into a frenzy with an electrifying performance of his hit single "In My Head" on American Idol April 7^th, red-hot pop sensation Jason Derulo is gearing up to release his new single, "Ridin' Solo," to pop radio Wednesday, April 28^th. The track follows up the triple-threat singer, songwriter, and dancer's two #1 smash hit singles, "Whatcha Say" and "In My Head" -- all from his self-titled debut album, out now on Warner Bros. Records/Beluga Heights. The video for "Ridin' Solo," which was directed by Scott Speer (Ashley Tisdale, The Veronicas), will premiere on E! Online (www.eonline.com) on Thursday, April 29^th at 6 A.M. PT.

The 20-year-old Miami-born Derulo has quickly established himself as one of the breakout stars of 2010. With the triple-platinum "Whatcha Say" (which spent four consecutive weeks atop the Pop chart) and the platinum "In My Head," Derulo became the first male solo artist to score consecutive #1's on Billboard's Pop Songs radio airplay chart in the chart's 17-year-history with his first two entries. "Whatcha Say," which climbed to #1 on Billboard's Hot 100, Rhythmic, and Pop charts, has sold four million copies, while "In My Head" has sold more than 2.5 million copies, both worldwide, to date.

The first artist signed to Warner Bros. Records' joint venture with multi-platinum songwriter and producer J.R.
