**About Blake Ladd**

Growing up in Santa Barbara, a small town just north of Los Angeles, Blake used to run around the house singing and dancing for his friends and family at parties and get-togethers. His natural ability to become the life of the party planted the seed, which Blake soon began to nurture, singing and dancing every chance he had. Although just a stone’s throw away from the entertainment capital of the world, Blake’s family never pushed him in that direction. To hear it from his mouth directly, “My parents are following my lead as far as this career path. We have a deal; as long as I’m doing well in school I can dance and sing all I want!”
By age 12 Blake was looking for a way to push himself even more toward his dreams and it was that summer that mutual friends introduced him and his family to music producer Benny Cassette, in Los Angeles. Things quickly came together as Blake almost immediately began recording songs and learning choreography with Anthony “Kanec” Carr.
Blake’s natural ability to light up a room and learn quickly soon turned into him completing his EP and first official music video, Me and You.” Blake tells it best, “That was the best summer I’ve ever had! When do I get to do this all the time!?”. Now on the verge of releasing his video and preparing for all the exciting things to come, Blake’s trips to LA are becoming part of his weekly routine.
Blake’s music is upbeat and reminds us of young love, first crushes, and a time when all we wanted to do was have some fun. He aims to capture his listeners with high energy, story filled songs and most importantly a positive message that will uplift and motivate his peers.
“I would like to change the world with my music, one verse at a time.”
Blake is currently in the studio working on his debut EP set for release later this year.
