New Teen Sensation Debut Their Party Anthem

Imagine the ultimate super group – Kelly Clarkson, Janet Jackson, Rihanna and Lauren Hill; however, imagine those singers as teenagers, and then you have Love Jones Girlz. The group consists of Claire Jones, Noni Storm Chinn, Victoria Strata and Taylor Nirvana Jones who possess the love of performing. There is nothing these young ladies would rather be doing than being on stage. “Love Jones” is a throwback to the term that means “a deep profound love for something.” The group consists of three girls from the New York City area and one die hard “Jersey Girl”.

The ladies may be in their teens, but Claire, Noni, Victoria and Taylor have all the required self-confidence and sparkle to pull off the year's most astonishing musical debut. This had become evident after winning the Faces in the Crowd Showcase in New York; a showcase which has become a springboard for artists on the rise including Grammy winner Chrisette Michelle.

Their new single, “The Party Don’t Start Without Me,” exhibits their youthful exuberance and fun vocals that proves this group is next generation of R&B singers/rappers and triple threat performers. This was evident when Billy Johnson, Senior Program Director of Yahoo Music who witnessed the ladies performance, “I had the opportunity to interview a lot of performers in my career, and I have never seen such young artists who are poised, professional, polished along with talented as Love Jones Girlz.”

Love Jones Girlz uses the sounds of the street as a canvass to paint the picture of the multiple challenges, joys, the highs and lows of being a teenager in today’s reality television society. This process is like a mirror of their personal lives in which they get the vent and talk about subjects from partying, to liking a guy, bullying, puppy love to girls that hate on you, to issues at school and peer pressure. Because of that Love Jones Girlz is able to relate to a wide demo, from kids to tweens and teens to young adults. Get four best girlfriends in a room and anything can happen, but when it's the members of Love Jones Girlz, anything usually turns out to be 4 real girls dealing with real life issues and confronting them head on.

Emmy Award winning TV production mixer and sound designer Charlie “CJ” Jones whose credits range from (The Chris Rock Show, Showtime at the Apollo, The Nate Berkus Show, Elvis Costello’s “Spectacle with”, Live @ Gotham, BET’s 106 & Park) signed Love Jones Girlz and is the president of the production company, Urban Melodic Entertainment. “I knew the timing was right and when the four girls came together, they had a chemistry that was off the charts. Not only does the group sing, but also they perform choreography at the same time. It’s like they are girl versions of Usher and Chris Brown. They are the real deal, comments Jones.

Currently the ladies summer are recording, rehearsing and preparing for their first promotional tour to promote their debut single and video, “The Party Don’t Start Without Me,” which is available on iTunes. The music video debuts on August 1st. Attached is an exclusive sneak peak of the music video. On Thursday July 21st Love Jones Girlz headline Harlem Summer Stage in New York and on July 23rd perform at the Digiwaxx/Dream Team Event in Mount Vernon, NY. The single is currently being serviced to DJ’s internationally via Digiwaxx.
