Pop/R&B Singer Manika's "Just Can't Let You Go" is Making
Look out for the arrival of Pop/R&B Singer Manika! Single "Just Can't Let You Go" is Making Some Noise!
Manika (pronounced Ma-NEE-ka), whose mixed heritage includes Filipino, Japanese, Chinese, Malaysian and Spanish is recording with A-list songwriters/producers for her full-length debut, including Tearce & Francci (Keyshia Cole, Patti LaBelle, Jo Jo), Qura Rankin and Evan Bogart (Beyonce, Rihanna, Leona Lewis, Natasha Bedingfield, Jennifer Lopez). Manika was also the only female artist this summer on the Shop Til You Rock tour sponsored by Pepsi and Gamestop. Shop Til You Rock is a music-inspired back to school mall tour, and is the same tour Demi Lovato was on last summer.
Manika was discovered by the late great Frank DiLeo (Michael Jackson's long-time manager) and revered-music coach CeCe Sammy of UK's Pop Idol. Her single, “Just Can’t Let You Go” has been added to over 37 stations nationwide (format – Top 40), and the official video was directed by Travis Payne, Michael Jackson's "This Is It" choreographer and associate producer of the film.
